Hi/Lo Thursday

The HI part of my week... oh so many things, just to pick one... Well, I have been praying for the last few weeks that God will reveal to me unresolved sin. Well, I have been reading an addictive set of novels (TWILIGHT) and my past, surprisingly, smacked me right in the head. I resemble the book in absolutely no way (I try to avoid danger in every possilbe way & tend to hang out with only the living). But, one line that I read took me straight back to my adolescence and WHAM! I saw my sin and how that it's consequences have carried into my everyday life. OUCH! It hurts. It is lovely to have the veil lifted. It is comforting to be forgiven. (Sorry to be cryptic. I am sure that you understand, though).

The LO part of the week... I am saying goodbye to our almost 15 year old cat today. According to the vet, she is the equivalent of an 85 year old human in age. She is painfully shy. She loves my sweet husband and tolerates me sleeping on her side of the bed. My husband is so sad. Allen is sad. Mimi Cate... well, ya know... RADishes don't truly attach to many things so this is not so hard on her. I will miss our Harriet and how that she has kept me warm at night.
